Fish populations are dominated by northern pike and cisco, followed by white sucker, walleye and yellow perch. Low numbers of rock bass, bluegill, and smallmouth bass were also captured, although numbers of these species may be under represented in a gill net assessment. Cisco sizes ranged from 6" to 12". All cisco under 9.5" were immature. Although the average size of northern pike is not exceptional, recruitment seems to be very good and many northern pike over 30" were caught. Appears to be erratic, with a strong 1988 year class dominating the population. Walleye growth is very slow.
