The bluegills sampled in this pond were found in moderate abundance for similar bodies of water. Of the bluegills sampled 84% were larger than six inches in length.The black crappies sampled were found in relatively low numbers and small size. Only 12.5% of the fish were longer than eight inches.Other species sampled during the 1994 survey included black bullheads, carp, northern pike, white suckers and three species of sunfish. Many of these species most likely entered the pond from Shingle Creek or illegal stocking by the public.
