Henson Lake did not appear to support significant numbers of any gamefish species. Only one northern pike was taken in gill nets, and one smallmouth bass was seen escaping from a gill net. Smallmouth bass and walleye have been expanding their ranges up the North Brule River system, but walleye, at least, do not appear to have reached Henson Lake yet.
