The walleyes present in the lake have migrated from Lower Lindgren Lake as there are no suitable spawning sites within the lake. The Brown Bullhead population is 12 times greater than area averages. The Northern Pike population is about twice that of area averages. Yellow Perch were relatively small and had slow growth rates; and the population is 10 times greater than area averages. The Black Crappie population is approximately 12 times greater than area averages while Bluegills and Pumpkinseed Sunfish were below average in abundance.
